Preparations

Rapunzel walked into the main theatre.
I still can't believe everything that's happening
she thought to herself, and then shuddered, thinking about Megara's lifeless body. Her mind drifted back to the night she was here late.
Stop it! she scolded herself. No use dwelling on the past.
But still...
She shook her head and began working on the set for La Rondine, painting the angels in one of the background pictures.

James entered the main theatre and searched for Rapunzel. He saw her painting the set for the upcoming show. "Ah, Rapunzel, finally I found you." he said walking to her. " I need to know hom much time you need to finish the set."

"Oh! Mr. Hook! I didn't hear you come in! Uh, hopefully not too long. I should finish this one by tomorrow afternoon, if it put in some extra hours this evening!" Rapunzel said, fidgeting nervously. For some reason, she always felt awkward around the older musician.
"Why do you ask? Do you need them for something?"

Tomorow afternoon... That'll be short. Thought James. "It is not that I need them" he answered, putting his hand on his chin "But we will have to start the rehearsals soon if we want to be in time." And he added mumbbling: "Well, anyway, it's not like they'll be able to perform it correctly for once."

"Ok" she replied What does he mean by not performing anything right? Not like I would know anything on how it's preformed she thought forlornly with a mental sigh.
"Well, if you need anything else on that matter, you know who to ask!"

"Well, indeed, would it be fine with you if I begin rehearsales this afternoon with musicians. Like that we will not need to use the stage and you will be able to continue your work in the same time." asked James. He knew she prefered to work alone but musicians really had to train and the practice room was not an easy place for so many musicians to rehearsal.

"I guess" she replyed reluctantly. "As long as it takes only the front half or so, and they promise not to trample the sets." saying the last part with a grin.

(Ooc: sorry I replied sooo late!)
"Thank you girl. Then, I am going to warn everyone." answered James. He headed to the door but stoped before reaching it. He turned back to look at Rapunzel.

Out of the corner of her eye Rapunzel saw Mr. Hook stop and turn around.
"Is something wrong?" she asked.

OOC: Is it just me or would Hook and Rapunzel make a cute couple? <.< >.> -goes back to my stalker corner-

James looked at her straight in the eyes without answering anything.

(Ooc: Have fun over there)
She nervously meet his eyes.
"Do you need somethig?" Rapunzel managed to squeak after a slightly akward silence.

( Ooc: Why is it that I'm not surprised to see Charlotte spying??? XP )

The more the silence lasted, the more nervously Rapunzel was acting. When she finally managed to tell something, James decided it was enougth and put an end to her embarrassment. He lowered his head and turned back simply saying "No, nothing...". A strange smile appeared on his face as he headed to the door.

Rapunzel shook her head. What was all that about?
She din't think she would understand that strange old musician.
Oh well, never mind. Now about that painting. . . And with that, she went back to work.
