He used to be a seducer, well-mannered, of a pleasant conversation until the death of the beautiful Lucille. He's now uncommunicative, whimsical and gets easiely angry or depressed.


History:

He grew up in a common, yet a bit cold, upper-middle class familly. His father was working a lot so he barely saw him and his mother was not really a loving person (she spent more time having tea and chatting with her friends than raising her child). His grandparents kind of raised him and often took him to the opera. He was mesmerized by by all those notes melting together to create such a beautiful unit. He started to learn playing piano at the age of seven on his grandfather' s old piano and soon discovered that he had talent for that. But he was not satisfied by just playing piano, so he learned violin and later traverse flute, etc...

He grew up to become a charming young man, with a gentleman's smile and talk. He used his talent to seduce Parisian ladies. That ended when he met the beautiful, sweet and talented singer Lucille. He fall instantly in love with her and decided to join her music company performing at L'Oiseau Rare. He spent 8 years of pure happiness by her side until, one day, she began to be harrassed by an unknown man. And the more she turned him down, the more violent he became until, one day, he killed her.

James has been annihilated by that and spent few years drinking and wandering about like a lost soul. But he couldn't stand staying in the same place he has been living in with Lucille anymore. Then, his grandfather died; that shock was what made him open up his eyes. The day after his grandfather's funeral, he moved and searched for work in different companies. That's how he got to work at the Opera House.

Once there, he kept rejecting all link with any of the people working with him. And he couldn't stand to see people standing on a stage as Lucille did and acting like the world was a nice place to live in while he was suffering so much! But he always kept his thoughts for him and waited to be alone to explode.

The murders began in the Opera House. But James is not scared about it since he feels like he is not alive anymore and that it would not be a bad thing to put an end to his suffering. On the contrary, he feels kind of interested by them and how poeple in the Opera House are reacting to this situation. ~"Who do you think will be the next one?... This kind of amuse him, for once."~
